RESILIENT AND RESOURCEFUL IT’S WHO WE ARE.
2 Timothy7: 12b, I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.
Ephesians 6:10, Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:10, Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
In a time when this world appears to be more chaotic than calm, we see more insanity than common sense, more betrayal than trust, one struggle is over, only to be recycled or replaced by something even greater. Sometimes, you can’t see the good over the bad, or victory over the defeats. The cares and woes of this life continuously screams in your face and shouts in your ear. Why…because the enemy wants to see you stumbling, faltering and ultimately failing.
But we are compelled to remember and remind ourselves daily we are built to be Resilient and Resourceful.
Resilient because we have been strengthened through the Word. We are maturing into that perfect man who knows who their God is! Always finding our solace, our joy, our peace and our strength in the Word of God. A “Resilient” person possesses the ability to withstand and recover quickly from difficult conditions. To bounce back strong, to maintain well-being in the face of adversity. Resilient because we have an adjusted-elevated perception of who God is! Revealed through study and knowledge of the Word. Seeing Him through the light..the full scope of the truth of His Word. Believing and having confidence in him as God the Creator and Sustainer of all things and knowing that He is the Sovereign Lord of all. Believing He is the covenant keeper!
Knowing your God will allow you to shift your perspective; no longer “me” but “He’. Determined always, to approach life and all its chaos, remembering everything is under the control of the Almighty God. He is One God! Therefore your confidence will be shaped by who your God is! The only true and living God! It’s in Him that we live, move and have our being. He is Good…. He is faithful, He is truth…..He is God and His Word stands forever.
Resourceful because we have access to all the power, strength and knowledge found in the Word. Heaven is on our side and God is fighting for us just like He did for the men of old. Remember Joseph.. suffered betrayal and years of slavery and unjust imprisonment but he believed and thrived and went on to become what God destined him to be.
Job in the midst of unimaginable loss, he declared,”Though he slay me, yet will I trust Him! He trusted God and recovered it all!
Even when it seems to make no sense, if Jesus says,”Come” Get out of the boat!
Shut out the noise through the power of the Word! We have weapons and they are mighty through God, a shield of faith, a breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the Spirit. We war in prayer! Our praise is a weapon, and we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We have all the resources of heaven on our side! It's All about who our God is and what His Word says.
We are people who walk out this life in God-confidence!!
Our shout back, clap back, comeback; however you want to say it; should be a reflection of who will know Him to be.
He is:
Sovereign, there is nothing outside of His will.
Omnipresent, we never have to feel alone, He promised, he is always there.
All knowing, we trust Him, he has perfect knowledge. He is Omniscient!
Omnipotent, He is almighty, infinite in power and unlimited in authority!
A loving Father, who invites us to come boldly before his throne to always find grace and mercy to help in times of trouble.
LOVE, He so loved….unconditionally. He loves us! He is Redeemer, Saviour, Lord and King.
We navigate through life, through the strength of the Word, our constant resource. It is our peace and our direction. We walk through the disappointments, uncertainty, struggles, crisis, and tragedies; with hope, joy, peace and confidence. Our foundation is sure; it’s built on the love of the Father, the life and death, burial, and resurrection of the Son, Jesus Christ. Finally, we have the gift of the Holy Spirit!
